Job Descriptions

  • To assist in implementing the business plan set by Head of Department towards the achievement of the departmental annual goal.
  • To acquire new clientele base through conducting marketing and promotional events, seminars and social media marketing.
  • To assist in organizing the marketing activities such as seminars and other physical events not limiting to outstation travelling.     
  • To serve and re-activate existing clientele through providing research material regards to news updates and daily commentary.
  • To ensure the smooth operations of the dealing room and all activities are compliant to the rules and regulations of the regulators. 
  • To facilitate the execution of derivatives transactions for all clients, ensuring efficient order handling and trade execution.
  • To closely collaborate with trading desks and risk management functions to execute trades in line with client instructions and prevailing market conditions.
  • Analyze Bursa Malaysia products and prepare daily commentary reports and post on Apex academy and Telegram channel.
  • Provide insights into market trends, volatility, and potential trading opportunities.
  • Continuously monitor market prices and provide updates to clients throughout the trading day.
  • Blast daily reports and trading recommendations to clients via email or other communication channels.
  • Develop educational content for the company’s Apex Academy platform, includes topics related to derivatives trading, market analysis, and risk management.
  • To assist comFBR’s trading business upon submission of their Request Form.
  • To support the comFBRs during system or platform failure using Firmsoft.
  • To assist comFBRs marketing activities upon request.
  • To call and conduct search on the competitors’ marketing and promotional events. 
  • To be aware of the competitors’ offers to the customers.
  • To understand the trend and demand of the customers to improve on the sales and services.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a recognised Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Marketing or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in local & foreign derivatives trading, possess valid Derivatives License (Module 14 & 16).
  • Extensive experience in institutional sales, preferably with a focus on derivatives or financial derivatives.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of derivatives products, markets, and trading strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities, trading experience in capital markets will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing derivatives trading activities.
  • Applicants must be Malaysian Citizen.
