Our Journey
Established as 'Lim and Hszieh Sendirian', a stock broking company and a member of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE).
1979
Transitioned into a private company, officially becoming Apex Securities Sdn Bhd.
15th March 1985
Acquired by AEHB through its restructuring process and KLSE listing.
2nd May 1991
Established JFA Futures Sdn Bhd (Jardine Fleming Apex Futures) to trade KLOFFE and MME.
1995
Jardine Fleming (now JP Morgan Hong Kong) acquired a 30% share, resulting in a name change to Apex Securities Sdn Bhd.
5th March 1996
Renamed Apex Securities Berhad (ASB) following a successful KLSE listing.
12th August 1997
Obtained the licensing rights of Halim Securities, enabling us to expand business operations and establish the Petaling Jaya (PJ) Branch.
October 2000
JFA Futures was renamed to Apex Futures after JP Morgan acquired Jardine Fleming.
2004
JP Morgan Hong Kong ceased its shareholding rights, returning full ownership to AEHB.
13th December 2007
Apex Futures merged into Apex Securities Berhad (ASB).
2009
Today, AEHB HQ is at Mutiara Damansara whilst ASB is headquartered in Kajang, with branches in Petaling Jaya, Puchong, Penang, and Johor Bahru.
