Job Descriptions

  • Execute trades in derivatives markets to capitalize on market opportunities. Utilize trading platforms and software to execute transactions swiftly and accurately.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential trading opportunities. Analyze macroeconomic factors, technical indicators, and news events to make informed trading decisions.  
  • Maintain a deep understanding of derivatives products, including futures, options and CFD. 
  • Stay abreast of market trends, volatility patterns, and regulatory changes affecting derivatives markets.
  • Provide clients with expert advice on derivatives strategies, pricing, and risk management techniques.
  • Customize derivatives solutions to meet the specific needs and objectives of institutional clients. 
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses. Monitor portfolio exposure and maintain appropriate risk levels through hedging and diversification techniques.
  • Utilize quantitative models and algorithms to analyze market data, develop trading strategies, and optimize trading performance. Apply statistical methods and mathematical techniques to assess market dynamics and forecast price movement.
  • Collaborate with research analysts, and other traders to exchange insights, share best practices, and develop profitable trading strategies. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate trading activities and achieve common objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, exchange rules, and internal policies governing derivatives trading activities. Adhere to risk limits, position limits, and reporting obligations to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold ethical standards.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a recognised Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Marketing or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives instruments, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in derivatives trading, with a proven track record of success, possess valid Derivatives License (Module 14 & 16).
  • Experience using trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing derivatives trading activities.
  • Previous experience in derivatives trading, proprietary trading, or investment banking is advantageous.
