Job Description
Payroll Management
- Administer and process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and timely, including statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and other contributions in compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain and update the employee records in HRMS Payroll System, with experience in InfoTech considered an advantage, while ensuring data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
- Handle and prepare payroll reconciliation, variance checks, and reporting for Finance and Management review.
- Prepare monthly reports within the timely manner.
- Ensure timely submission and payment of statutory contributions, income tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage year-end payroll activities including EA form issuance and annual tax submissions.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure employee satisfaction through effective communication.
Operations
- Prepare HR letters, contracts, and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Administer employee benefits, including insurance, medical third party administrator and etc.
- Assist in implementing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate HR-related audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Employee Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
Continuous Improvement
- Support HR digitalization initiatives and HRIS enhancements.
- Stay updated on employment laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices relevant to the stockbroking and financial services industry.
Other Duties
- Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain an organized and secure filing system for all human resource documents.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as and when assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll processing.
- Proficiency in InfoTech payroll system is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of payroll, benefits, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy in data processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with employees at all levels.
- Flexible, resourceful, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
