Our Journey
Established as 'Lim and Hszieh Sendirian', a stock broking company and a member of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE).
26th May 1979
Transitioned into a private company, officially becoming Apex Securities Sdn Bhd.
15th March 1985
Incorporation of Apex Equity Holdings Berhad (AEHB) in preparation for a KLSE Listing.
21 Nov 1990
AEHB acquires Apex Securities through its restructuring process and underwent a successful listing on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (Stock Code:5088).
2nd May 1991
Established JFA Futures Sdn Bhd (Jardine Fleming Apex Futures) to participate in the Kuala Lumpur Options and Financial Futures Exchange (KLOFFE) and Malaysia Monetary Exchange (MME).
1995
Jardine Fleming (now JP Morgan Hong Kong) acquired a 30% share, resulting in a name change from Apex Securities Sdn Bhd to JF Apex Securities Sdn Bhd (JFAS).
5th March 1996
JFAS consolidated with Halim Securities Sdn Bhd to become a 1+1 Broker, further expanding its stockbroking business operations in Petaling Jaya (PJ).
October 2000
JFA Futures was renamed to Apex Futures after JP Morgan acquired Jardine Fleming.
2004
JP Morgan Hong Kong ceased its shareholding rights in JFAS, returning full ownership to AEHB.
13th December 2007
Apex Futures merged with JF Apex Securities Berhad to streamline business operations.
2009
On 1st September 2022, JF Apex Securities Berhad changed its company name to Apex Securities Berhad.
2022
Today, AEHB and its subsidiaries (Apex Group) operates from Mutiara Damansara for its Stockbroking and Derivatives, Margin Financing, Moneylending and Property Holdings businesses.
