Job Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication strategies that effectively target and penetrate diverse racial markets in Malaysia. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Conceptualize and create engaging, culturally relevant campaigns to resonate with different racial segments. Craft compelling messaging, visuals, and content that demonstrate an understanding of each market’s unique preferences and values.
  • Produce high-quality, culturally sensitive content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, print materials, and more. Ensure content is localized and resonates with each racial segment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers within each racial market. Leverage these connections to secure media coverage and partnerships that enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor campaign performance and gather data-driven insights. Regularly analyze results to refine strategies and improve future campaigns’ effectiveness in reaching and engaging diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Stay updated on cultural trends, social nuances, and sensitivities within different racial markets to ensure respectful and effective communication.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, which is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in marketing communication, with a focus on market penetration and multicultural outreach.
  • A demonstrated history of successful marketing communication initiatives, ideally with experience in effectively reaching and engaging diverse racial audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of Malaysia’s cultural landscape and familiarity with various racial communities’ preferences and behaviors.
  • Strong creative thinking and content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messages and visuals to specific cultural contexts.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data to derive actionable insights and optimize strategies for better results.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and consumer behaviors.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and ideally proficiency in one or more local languages.
